Clark and Sallie Bongaardt, owners of Comfort Keepers of King of Prussia, plan to say "thank you" to their caregiving team by holding their annual Caregiver Appreciation Day event at the Philadelphia Phillies vs Pittsburgh Pirates game.
The first pitch won't be thrown until 4 pm but the festivities will begin long before the game begins. Comfort Keepers caregivers can expect a fun-filled tailgate with multiple activities for children, lots of free food options (including food trucks), reserved seating at the game, reimbursed parking, and a free t-shirt.
This is the 2nd year that the King of Prussia team is holding Caregiver Appreciation Day. Due to how well-received the event was last summer, the Bongaardts have no plans on stopping the tradition. At last year's event, over 250 Comfort Keepers attended and two Comfort Keepers were even given the honor of throwing the first pitch of the game.
Clark and Sallie Bongaardt have been providing senior in-home care services to King of Prussia, PA, and the surrounding areas since 2002 along with their son, Ian.
