Ireland has ‘much stronger presence’ at this year’s Paris Air Show

Ireland has a "much stronger presence" at this year's Paris Air Show, Enterprise Ireland said.

The Government agency has a stand at the air show and is looking to attract companies to set up in the Irish market.

Limerick IT firm Arralis, winner of The Irish Times "Innovation of the Year" award in 2016, is announcing a new contract with the European Space Agency, the initial phase of which is worth €650,000.

On Monday, Boeing unveiled a new model of its best-selling 737 aircraft, injecting life into a faltering civil aviation market as French president Emmanuel Macron flew in to open the world's biggest airshow.
